Terms of Use
Last updated: August 24, 2026
Gobstagram is a small, independent community site. These terms are written in plain English on purpose — there's no legal team behind this, just an admin trying to run a fair, spam-free place to post. By creating an account or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms.
1. Accounts
Sign-in is through Discord — there's no separate site password. You're responsible for anything posted from your account. One account per person; don't create accounts to evade a ban or impersonate someone else.
2. Acceptable Use
Don't post or do any of the following: content that's illegal where you or Gobstagram operate; harassment, threats, or targeted abuse; spam or unsolicited advertising; impersonation of another person; or anything you don't have the rights to post (stolen art, copyrighted material used without permission, etc). Anyone can report a post, comment, or profile using the Report button — reports go to the site admin.
3. Your Content
You keep ownership of whatever you post — photos, blog entries, comments, profile customization. By posting it, you're granting Gobstagram the license to store, display, and distribute it as part of running the site (showing it in feeds, on your profile, to other members, and so on). You're responsible for having the right to post whatever you upload.
4. Moderation & Termination
Admins can remove content, issue warnings, or suspend/ban accounts that violate these terms, regardless of whether a report was filed. You can delete your own account at any time from Settings — that permanently removes your profile, posts, and everything else tied to it (see the Privacy Policy for what "everything else" covers, and download a copy first from the same page if you want to keep it).
5. Third-Party Integrations
Signing in uses Discord's OAuth. Cross-posting, if you turn it on, uses Bluesky's API with credentials you provide. Neither integration is required to use the site. See the Privacy Policy for what data that involves.
6. No Warranty
Gobstagram is provided as-is, run on a best-effort basis. There's no guarantee of uptime, and while regular backups are taken (see the Privacy Policy), no service can promise data is never lost. Gobstagram isn't liable for content posted by other users — if you see something that violates these terms, report it.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms, or to report something that needs an admin's attention beyond what the Report button covers, reach out to the site administrator via Discord.
